Aim. The aim of the article is to identify opportunities for religious education in field promoting values sustainable development. By identifying key concepts, define options future strategies implementation development school teaching education. Based on analysis, strengths weaknesses potential areas within curriculum where sustainability can be applied. Results. Christian are based a common anthropological platform, dignity human person. Religious should also this platform. Conclusion. In order apply development, it necessary adjust terms content scope topics. At same time, innovate way training teachers. goal innovations internalization value orientation teachers students. Cognitive value. not conflict. has its meet requirements United Nations (UN) agenda as well teachings Magisterium.
